grunting and bleating is working great, but rattling will be hit and miss.... I doubt you will get much mature buck response out of banging the horns together... most of it will be curious younger bucks.
The buck I shot on Friday came in 5-10 min after some light "sparring" type rattling. Just very light tickling the tines together for about 30 seconds. I was blind ratttling and he came in on a string. That was at about 7:15am.. I'm gonna try it again tonight closer to sunset..
