Can I get a score?

I can't believe that thing! I say it is 220^.

Maybe Mitch Rompala has moved to Arkansas.

Put an arrow in it. Someone is bound to help you score it then. 200+ for sure.

i may be wrong but i don't think so...
the deer looks to me to be of the penned variety.
notice the lack of any sort of ground vegetation and the appearance of a significant browse line not to mention the feed on the bare ground.
a great deer to be sure but not one for a hunter after a wild buck

Okay my opinion water displacement in a large take would be the only true way to measure antlers fairly. For the record I did not come up with this measuring system, but I think it is the fairest. As far as I know this has been the first time this has been mentioned.

Just incase this becomes something Tom Paul My hunting partner came up with this idea. The reason I am so serious about this topic is because I feel there is reason for change, I feel mass is not given enough credit, and water displacement, or maybe some thing else this day and age could determine how much bone/antler is really there

Great Buck! I agree with Baby G. "Do away with the net score". This buck is better than the numbers B&C will settle on!
ShedhunterMd, Could you make a new post regarding a scoring system using water displacement? Mass has been getting the shaft in the scoring system for to long! Great Idea!

I know this is a very old post. Is this buck really from Arkansas or a game ranch? Does anyone have more information on the buck?

Ok, if this is a real photo, and the deerreally scores 220 or so, he appears to be pretty much typical and without too many deductions might be close to world record typical. Where the heck are the sheds? Is this for real? I might have to check on an Arkansas license.
