Carbon arrows

I need to buy some new carbon arrows for hunting. What are some good brands?

I've been shooting Carbon Express the last few years. I think you'll find a number of great shafts with similiar tolerances & quality.

I would advise picking a brand that has quality components (nocks inserts) that you favor.

Carbon Express makes excellent arrows. in my opinion they're a little pricier than some of the other brands. Beman also makes great arrows, a dozen Beman ICS Hunters will run you around $60. I shoot GoldTip graphite arrows myself. the GoldTip Hunters will run you $60, the XT Series will be around $75, and the 3-D pros will be around $110. big difference in price between any arrow is straightness. the less expensive the less straight the arrow will be.

Muddy, I agree with you that Gold Tips great arrows for starters, and if you like the Gold Tips I would like to suggest the Easton Excels... basically similiar shafts but the Excels weights are more consistent than the Gold Tips, and they run around the same price.

I just want arrows that kill deer. Is that too much to ask.Do they have deer seeking arrows.
