Carbon Arrows??

I don't know about the concrete. A couple of years ago we where play around in a friend archery shop shooting concrete blocks. My buddy shot and stuck the Goldtip in a concrete block the 100 gr, thunder head stuck up to the blades. After some others tryed to stick there alminums and couldn't I try it with my bow I was shooting 70 lb and my buddy was omly shooting 60 lbs and his thunder head was 100 gr. and mine was 85 gr. We put a new block up at about 25 yards and my Beman broke it into the arrow was history put broke the block. Once I shot one and the arrow shot a hole in the block with a field point and the arrow was stuck in it about 8 inchs. the nock end spit but didn't brake the arrow.

Well I was shooting in my basement(solid concrete walls) when one went wild. That gold tip shattered into more pieces that I could ever count but the tip was imbedded 3/4 of an inch.

If anyone is looking to buy some Goldtip Camo XT arrows, there are some being auctioned on e-bay. I've won 3 dozen now and the most I've had to pay is $43.00 plus shipping. They will cut them to length and glue the inserts in. All of have been perfect and the guy I've been dealing with is very a reputable dealer. Check it out, he has several auctions going.

I need to buy a couple dozen Gold Tips so I checked ebay out. It looks like there are 2 vendors on there. The company that includes shipping is getting $56/dozen. I'll have to go back there and find the specific one you mention, to see what bids are. I saw he charges $7 shipping, but if I could get them for $40 that would be quite a deal.

Rackaddict,

I wonder how you managed to get them that low. That vendor now has a doz. with bid at $49.50 + $7 shipping = $56.50. About the same as the other vendor. So you got yours $39 + $7 = $46?

Zim, I got mine for $41.00, $42.50 and $43.00 (plus the $7.00 shipping). I guess more people are catching on to it and they are going higher now. I've had the best luck bidding on arrows that closed at odd times, (like 6:00 a.m.) when most normal people are not thinking about e-bay. I wait until there there is only about 15 seconds left and then put in my max bid. It seems to work for me. Put the lowest priced ones on your watch list and give it a shot. I think a dozen Goldtip XT's for around $50.00 bucks is a pretty good price. Good Luck!
