carrying two guns

i was wondering if it was legal to carry two guns while slug hunting. i have a remington 870 that is opened sight and a browning with a scope i was wondering if it is legal to carry them both whil hunting during the iowas shot gun seasons

didnt used to be till this year i think. could be wrong it has happened before.
