Central Iowa real estate attorney

Does anyone have a contact for a real estate attorney in central Iowa that they would recommend for land? I'm hoping to buy a small farm that is FSBO so I am looking for someone to do the paperwork on that.

I've used the law firm Moore, McKibben, Goodman, & Lorenzen out of Marshalltown a couple times for FSBO land sales, and was happy with them. They managed to fix a screw up from a different lawyer I had hired 1st.

I think any lawyer can do a basic purchase agreement. Of the 12 real estate transactions I’ve done over the years I only used a realtor once that’s only because we had to sell quick and 1031 into a new farm which I now know you don’t have to hurry as much because you can do a reverse 1031 after the fact!‍ I’ve always used Eric Reinhart in Guthrie Center. Save a ton of money that way for sure not using a realtor especially in the digital age. Just IMO anyway. To each his own.

I used to work out of that area and used Eric for real estate transactions back then. Glad to see he still doing good work.
