I have never in my life seen an American cheer the death of a fellow American until the last 2 days, absolutely vile and disgusting people. A 31yr old, husband, father of 2 was assassinated for his political and religious beliefs and there is no difference between the sides???? come on boys wake the fuck up. If you can show me where someone on the right has done this I will eat my words.

I am not saying all Democrats are bad by any means - lots of friends that have different political views - but I am saying I will have lost a lot of respect for them unless they 100% denounce the celebrations of the death of an American. I know I would be ashamed to be associated in any way with these people.

When members of one party, on a national stage, are cheering this on there are big problems. Those people are more evil than terrorist that hate this country. I can only hope our country is wise enough to stand against this hate and rise above.
 
How about this complete clown. This is Jon Green, Chair of the Johnson County (Iowa City) Board of Supervisors. He made an order in Johnson county to disregard/disobey the Governors proclamation for the colors to be flown at half staff in honor of Charlie. If you read his comments on the issue you’ll be disgusted and outraged. If you further look into the Johnson county board of supervisors, you find other folks employed there that will provide a bit of illumination on the issue. They employ some “they thems”. How these type of folks are elected into office in Iowa boggles the mind…but is Iowa City really Iowa??

Make sure you vote friends! Vote in every local election you can. Do the research and know who & what you’re voting for.

Please Lord Jesus don’t let the moral rot and disease that exists in much of Iowa City government metastasize any further than it already has.

Iowa City voters skew Johnson County far left/liberal. They are wrong on about every issue IMO. Hiring sharpshooters for deer. Proposed tax for "affordable housing" read subsidized. Anti-ICE. "Changing the language" on DEI but not the push, typical tactic of the left, redefine words and create phrases. List goes on and on.

If I’m correct Johnson Co was the only county in Iowa that Trump didn’t carry??

Had a thought I have a hard time verbalizing & thinking through how I say it. Bear with me….
2 shootings…. Trump & Kirk.
I believe God’s hand was fully there for a big reason & spared trumps life.
I am not necessarily saying “gods hand guided that bullet to Charlie’s neck”…. It was evil that did that. But could it be that there’s a bigger reason why this one did hit the mark where trumps didn’t? It’s of the Devine & God’s wisdom I can’t comprehend…. I do think Charlie is with Jesus now & lead his family & countless others to that place. Could it be that his death grows that movement bigger than he could have on earth had he not been assasinated?
I can understand that view or plan that’s above my head that we only will know someday after this life. The fact that it probably already is creating hundreds more Charlie’s, growing the spreading of his work & growing an army of thousands of soldiers wanting to do gods work …. Plausible. There’s absolutely a silver lining here. No doubt about it. One that I am certain Charlie would hope for if he knew his life would end like this.
All I’m saying…. It’s hard for me to explain or even understand the dynamics of those 2 shootings & 2 very different endings BUT I can’t deny the fact that gods hands are directly involved in both scenarios & I believe it’s an awesome plan. Lastly- I literally believe this horrible tragedy will bring more people to a Christian salvation. Which, in the end is the real goal.

I think we all struggle at times understanding why God steps in on some things, yet allows others to happen..

FWIW, I think you are close there Skip. There's actually a ton of comments on his Youtube videos about people going to church that haven't been in years, or are just converting out of the blue. It's actually pretty amazing, and powerful.
 
Word is FBI is trailing the money to the shooter. How insane would it be if they traced it back to someone or some country we know..??
