Here is one late season strategy I learned....... make sure your "new" rubber boots don't have a hole in them before you cross the sloppy water filled fields
You best approach just arrived in the form of snow and cold. This is the push we needed to put the deer on high energy food plots in numbers. Set up on corn fields or between bedding areas and corn fields. This should get some bruisers moving in search of filling their guts.
You are right on Shredder. Went out Friday night (50 degrees) saw 1 deer. Saturday night (20 degrees and front moving in) saw 50+ with 3 mature bucks. What a difference 30 degrees makes. Only gonna get better!!!!
Bowman - were those deer in cornfields or beanfields? The deer I have been seeing lately are in the bean fields. Will the snow push them into the corn? I'm confused on what to set up on.
Surprisingly, beans, but they were headed to corn. This situation is a 40 acre block of timber that is off limits surounded by beans. I hunt the corn that surounds the bean fields. They will need to move alot earlier to get to me before dark. I'm gonna give it a try tonight!
try right clicking on the graemlins page.....toward the bottom of the list it say "refresh page with full quality" click on it and they might go. worked for me....
