It could be that gravity is being blamed for shooting high from elivated positions when in all probability that it is shooting form that is to blame? If you don't bend at the waist and lower the bow arm instead, that will cause high shots. Lowering the arm causes "palming" in turn causing a high shot. Considering the size of the kill zone on a whitetail, 1 or 2 inches either way is not going to make any difference. Just my 2cents.
