Chestnuts from nuts

Received some chestnuts from a member on here last fall. Started them in pots and now, I have chestnut trees!

Of the bareroot persimmon I planted this year, 27 of the 30 are growing as well. I planted and tubed most of them.
Should have done this years ago!

Love this!!!! Takes such little time but a love for doing it. I started doing that about 7-10 years ago. I’ve got so many trees full of nuts & fruit it’s CRAZY!! Time flies by and those little babies will be producing faster than anyone can imagine. Just never give up when some die. Keep replacing. Love this!!! Keep the updates. I’m growing more this year as well & will use them to fill in some dead spots. If a chestnut dies- I might replace with a persimmon or vice versa. Or pear, crabapple, etc. Keep the updates coming!
