Chufa?

Anyone had any luck planting/growing this in Iowa. I think it is more based towards attracting turkeys, but also can be used as a food source for deer.

Just looking for some general info. on this stuff. When to plant? How long to mature?? etc...

No personal experience, but have done some investigating on the subject. I get the impression it may grow here some but really does much better in a warmer climate.
