Clayton Co. and IBA Shootout

It's time to start planning which 3-D courses to hit this summer. June 6-7 is the first leg of the IBA Shootout at the Clayton Co. shoot. Randy and Bonker and a couple more board members will be there. This is a family friendly shoot with the open stakes very challenging. Anyone who has ever come to this shoot says it is worth the drive. 50 targets, all in the woods, maintained trails, great food, door prizes, novelty shoot, and a IBA gathering to boot. Check out our website for directions. Camping is in limbo since last years flood, but there's a campground in Elkader a couple miles away. Come on up.

No prob...I'd love to see a lot of guys come up for this. There is now camping available in the town of Volga and of course at Backbone. If anyone cant find somewhere to stay ....there is always my back yard.

I need someone to shoot with.

Ummmmm, when was the last time you ever saw "Bonker" and "family friendly" used in the same post?

Oh well, I guess I'll be on my best behavior which means I'll only spend the night in jail instead the entire week.

Hope to see everybody there.

The 'Bonker

Since Bonker is spending a couple nights at my cabin for this shoot, can some of you guys that know him better give me some advice. Should I have the sherriff set up a perimeter? What about women and children within a 5-mile radius? Are they safe? Should I have the national guard on standby?

Stock up on Bourbon and Chocolate mousse and I think the perimeter should be safe.
Not sure where to find chocolate mousse around here, but if you need help.......................give me a holler.
