Climbing rope/safety strap

Bristleback

Looking for a GOOD climbing rope/safety strap to use when hanging stands.
I have a stiffer rope that attaches to my safety harness but the dang thing won't slide/adjust through the clasp, it's a real pain trying to adjust in on the ground with 2 hands...........let alone in a tree!

Also have a 2inch wide strap that also attaches to my harness........it's too flimsy to flip up when wanting to go higher.......works fine once you get to the level you want.

..........surely there is a better way!
1000 thanks!

I also use a Tree Hopper(I think that is the correct brand name) belt when hanging and removing stands. It is basically a lineman belt and adds a great deal of safety to that process. If I got the name right on the belt, they used to, maybe still do, sponsor this site and their banner ad would sometimes appear here.

I got this thing years ago....same company that makes the EZY screw-in steps. They were also first to come out with the long static ropes. With this device you use your regular harness and rope....short ends attach to the D rings on your harness @hips, and long end attaches to the prussic on your rope. This way you can hang from tree, use both hands to work on stand, etc...and your rope can be higher on the tree so it doesn't get tangled with the stand, straps, etc. Hate that. It is a little on the heavy side, so I just use it when I'm planning to hang/move stands. If you're doing a hang & hunt thing, you wouldn't want to bother carrying it.

The Guardian Lanyard serves as the connection between your harness and anchor. The double connection points to the harness allow for relocation of one snap at a time from the front rings (climbing) to the back rings (hunting), and vice versa so you NEVER disconnect from your safety anchor.
