Clover mowing ideas?

Any one have a pull behind mower that works good for clover? I've got a 4ft pull behind brush mower and it works but leaves a wind row of chaff to one side that smothers out the clover. Im looking for something with its own engine mounted on to pull with utv . Thanks guys

I had one of those swisher ones with a motor abbot 20 years ago. Worked pretty well. I recall I beefed up the hitch system on it with a welder.
Wonder if the one u running…. Is it mowing things too short? Even when I do it with a batwing now I just give it a hair cut & go higher rpm so things get shredded.

I had one back before I had a tractor. Does it work? Yes. The issues were exactly what you said and also it cuts it too short. I rigged it up to cut higher but it still did just a fair job.

My stuff does that as well when I let it get to high. Solution is to go other way on wind row that I've found. So basically mowing twice unfortunately but works for me

Mine is the rough cut mower with half inch flat heavy blades for brush just wondering is the pull behind finish mower would be better? My new farm im planning on 3 . 1 acre clover plots so lil more but not worth a 10ft batwing mower

How about a pull behind flail mower? I was considering one to terminate cover crops when I was in my Regenerative plotting phase .
