Well I tried Code Blue Scrape Mate over a pretty heavily used deer trail to see if it would work as a good mock scrape. After a week of it out I checked it and was pretty excited to see around 150 pictures. I hurried home and found a lot of does and a small buck checking it out. However you could tell they were nervous about the scent.
Went to Mexico and came back last night. Hunted today and checked camera again with 200 pictures. Again I was excited and this time there was 4 new scrapes around my mock scrape so I felt like it might be work.
Looked at the pictures and it just seems like they are not sure about this scent. I had one small buck trying to activate the scrape but the bigger one just not too sure about the set up.
