Can anyone recommend a pair of boots with gortex and 0 to 200 grams of insulation that will keep your feet comfortable when scouting or shed hunting for 8 hrs at a clip?

I've tried just about all of them, the only one that has really worked for me is the cabela's speed hunter. Looking for more options. Thanks.
 
I like several models of Danners that I have had for years, and they just keep on going. I don't know the models names though, but Danner boots are top rate. Lots of elk hunters wear Danners, and this is a place where you need a great boot.
 
Danner Pronghorns are very comfortable. The Danner Blade,however, is the most comfortable boot I have ever tried on but I'm not sure if they make it below 400 grams. Go with Danners and you won't be disappointed!
 
I'm with all of the above. With the exception of my fire boots (Whites), all of my hunting boots (insulated and non) are Danners. Can't go wrong and they last a lifetime. I've had both the Ft. Lewis and Acadias as well as currently having Pronghorns and another model I forget the name of.
 
I love Danner boots, they are nice and light. I wear em out quick though. I have never had a pair last more than a year before they leak. Maybe just dumb luck but I have owned three different pairs now with the same results.
 
Hey Liv4Rut, have you ever sent your Danners back for a rebuild? I've had a couple of pair rebuilt for less than 1/2 the price of a new pair and they are just like a new pair when you get them back. One of the reasons I love and recommend Danners.
 
I'm a little late coming in, and I agree Danners are good boots. Just for a different idea though check out some Merrill hikers. I have four different pairs and these are some great shoes. Super comfortable, and they're great when your going to do a lot of walking.
 
Gotta go with Danner Vanish GTX, light weight, comfortable and water proof. They are a lot like wearing a tennis shoe while walking. Walk all day with out your feet hurting. They worked great for me in the mountains of colorado elk hunting walking miles a day. My work boots are Danner also. Cant go wrong with them.

I dig those velcro ones at the top.

I just got a new pair of boots a couple weeks ago made by a hiking company called Asolo. I had a gift card, a return, and they were terribly on sale otherwise they are too expensive, but now that I've had them I can say they are the most comfortable hiking/hunting boot I've ever worn. They're not insulated though but so long as you're moving about they're awesome.
 
I recently started my own pest control business, and baby, business is a booming.
