I just saw one of the snakes you are refering to at the Snakes Alive display at the fair and even though I like snakes, they sound like a nasty little critter. Good luck.

I like snakes(I have had some as pets)Copperheads are nasty little SOB's and they can lay a wallup.I am with the shovel idea if he gets to close.
