Got another view of this 5x5 yesterday and a 4x4 with some growth next to his g3. I thought the curious youngster was neat.

But do you guys think it's this same buck from July? I don't think it is but I'm not 100%

Different deer in July I would say. You are all over em now Jay. When is your opener? Good luck with em.

Jay where in nebraska are you from. I lived in Alliance ne for about 15 yrs. Had my chances at a couple of real hawgs out in the sandhills. I just notice the pine trees wondered if you were near the pine ridge area.

dblmainbeam, I hunt on the Loup river by Dannebrog Ne. Central part of the state. The landowner here planted Pines on his CRP ground about 20 years ago. My families ground that borders this peice also has a large shelterbelt with quite a few pines.

I think this is the same as the july deer , Check out the brow tines in the first and last pic's. theres a little wiggle in the brow on the left side (my left not the deers)that looks identical and the mass is sureley there??? EEeeehhhh..Could be.

It is the same deer, IMO.

Study the tine length in both photos. The brows are a ringer. And look at the super thick left side main beam where the G4 is getting ready to pop.

Same deer...
