Cowpie vs. Turkey camp hangover

Anybody ever set up their blind along a pasture edge before dark and realize at first light that you have a "friend" with you inside the blind? I hate when that happens. Particularly after a handful of shastas the night before.

Not a cowpie, but 2 years ago i set my blind up over a small flowering thorn bush. I had bumble bees in my blind all morning!

A couple of years ago during turkey season i set up in the dark, put all my decoys out and found a nice tree to set up on. When i went to go set down i found out quick what tree i was setting against. Sat right on a 2 in. honey locust thorn. Went right into the left cheek. The screem i let out should of woke every gobbler in a 5 mile radius. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shocked.gif My whole left cheek and thigh was numb the rest of the day. It always helps to feel around before you set down!

Last year in Kansas I set up in a patch of poison ivy, I paid for that.

Last year I sat down in a woodtick/deer tick nest. I sat up against a tree and for the next 35 min I pulled ticks 1 after another off of me.
