Coyote caught with evidence of fawn predation in his mouth

Went out and pulled the cards from my cameras yesterday morning. I was hoping to get a few pics of fawns, but not like this!

Not only did this coyote show me his trophy, he left it right in front of my camera as if to rub it in my face for days.

Here's one with a young buck, and the fawn's head still is in the background.

I know it's part of the deal when trying to manage for whitetails, but I've never seen this type of evidence before.

Nature is definitely cruel sometimes. Good looking yote and great pics, thanks for sharing. I know a group of guys that could probably take care of him this winter for you

No it was gone. However, I had no idea to even look for it until I got home and reviewed the pics.
