It's not near a road. It's set up on a gate post between two fields about a quartermile from the nearest road. The fences really create a funnel and he's gotten a ton of photos of deer, turkeys, coyotes, coons and even a ditch tiger. There are bobcats on his place but he's yet to get one on film.

How would you folks rate the pelt? Are they past prime already? Looks a little thin to me but I'm no expert.

In response to Bonker, I'd guess that the pelt would still be prime. No real weather related reasons for the fur to thin yet. I'm a novice though and I was always impressed with my previous fur buyers' (Ludy Sheda of Chelsea, RIP) eye for hides. He could tell you when and roughly where you trapped an animal.
