Crappies

i went out last night to big creek with my friend and his dad and caught about 100 9-10 inch crappies in about an hour and a half. we were out there at 7-8:30, they were biting best on white little jig tails-1 in. and 1/64 oz. lead heads.

i just got in from fishing at another spot on big creek (from shore again) and we had one more man with us this time and caught 157 crappies. we saw a couple that only caught two the WHOLE day. they had been there all day and caught two and we had been there hour and a half and caught 157. we havent kept any because they are only about 9 inches.

I need to get up there with my two boys.Always have had good luck back in some of the coves.
