Crappy weekend

You know, I thought the slowdown due to the weather was bad enough, but when I had a log skidder climb up the hill that was the clincher. Wouldn't you know that the walnut tree that my stand was in was next in line. Why the heck do they have to do this now!!

Lol, I hear ya. I have a neighbor building a garage about 10' off my property line, nothing like a little hammering and sawing to bring in the big bucks. My other neighbor is planning to bring in a dozer this week to clear out old fencing that connects to my timber. I'm sure that wont be loud or disruptive.
Some people have no respect for the rut!

Kelcher,
Had the same thing happen several years ago.The loggers did tell the farmer to call me so I could get my stand down before they cut the tree down. This year know I have to deal with 4-wheelers that I posted earlier on a diffrent subject.Yesterday I just kept thinking about winning the lotto and buying my own piece of heaven.

Ain't that the truth...I've had the same thoughts all fall.
