Crow Calls

Last year during turkey hunting, we used a crow call for locating turkeys. Boy, does that thing work. We got to our bline, and we waited for about 5-10 minutes, and we did that call. We had a big gobbler coming over the hill. Ever time we lost him, we would do it and he came right back. We were using a hen call. We never got the turkey because a deer walked out right in fornt of him. I just wanted your guys or girls thoughts on this. Have had any luck, or just comments.

Have had great luck locating with crow calls, but never called a bird in with one. Interesting.

I use mine a lot. If I try to cut some distance on a turkey, I always will crow call when I think I am within 150-200 yards. Doesn't always work, but it won't hurt a thing. Power crow by Primos is the call I use. Very loud.
