cut on contact broadheads:

As mentioned in another post, I compared Snuffer SS to Slick Tricks (Magnums) which I had been using the last couple years. Snuffers outpenetrated the ST's by a longshot and were actually slightly more accurate through my setup. I'm going with the COC heads this year and see what happens.

I watched the demo. Quite convincing. Has anyone used the woodsman heads. sharpen yourself, fixed heads?

Are you thinking of use for traditional or compound? I haven't used them but have reasearched the heck out of them for use in the longbow. I like the long, slender design for the lower draw weight. I would say however, that for higher draws, I'd lean more toward something like the Snuffer SS or Hellrazor type of head. I'm thinking the durability would be better than the Woodsman but that's just me.

They are making a new Woodsman head called.......Woodsman Elite or marketed also as VPA Terminator. They are machined from tool grade steel which I believe is the only head on the market that way.

Some would consider them hunting sharp out of the box, but a few strokes on a fine stone and then stropped........ you'll be scared of them!

One BAD head.

Interesting info River. I may have to check them out because the one thing that sucks about these Snuffers is that I can't get them as sharp as I like.

I am sold on the Magnus Singers & Buzzcuts! They actually fly better then my Jackhammers. I can't believe more people on this board don't use them!
