Trying to get him to paint it snow camo and get some bigger tires for it. Gonna be a hunting machine. They seem to go through anything.

I have seen those thing lateley in magazines and actually in a nearby town!!

There is a guy just north of here that is suspossed to be buying a container full of those.

Pretty cool deer hauling machine!!

Yeah, they're japanese mini trucks. You can buy container loads of them from overseas. 5 spd, 4 wheel drive. Tough little buggers, really quiet, and can go through a lot. Dad bought his this past spring when they got all that snow up in WI. He was pushing snow with the front of it and couldn't get it stuck. Goes great in sand....we don't have much for mud up there though, so we don't have to worry about that. Uses it for his farm truck, but I think it needs to turn into the hunting truck.

We have one where I work. Ours has heat, air, wipers, fold down bed sides and will go about anywhere you need it to. Fun little trucks. Do a google search for "Japanese mini farm trucks" and you will get some sites that have awesome camo models. They also offer lift kits and off road mud tires. They are about half the price of the side by side ATV's on the market.

stick some antlers on the top and paint it brown....
you got a decoy

We gave around $4500. Ours is a Honda model. Its used of course but in really good shape.

I think it ran around 5000, it was in great shape though. Got this one from a guy in SD. Could choose the tires you wanted when you bought it. My dad picked these so they don't tear up the roads on the cranberry marsh. This one's a mitsubishi. Just like a regular truck inside, but tiny! I'm gonna get some better pics this weekend and send them to a friend who's gonna photoshop snowcamo onto it for me so I can talk pop's into it!

Are they street legal? What is top speed? Not much ground clearance but if you don't already have a pick-up they should get the job done.

you ever try any food plotting with them...small implements...just curious as to how well the work...they don't look quite as nimble as a 4wheeler, might compact a lot when dragging...just some thoughts

I know a pheasant outfitter up here that has one identical to that but camo'd up and fat tires... goes through or over just about anything. he put stainless steel dog kennels on the back of his - pretty fun!

12 valve 660 CC 3 cylinder motor will get her up to around 55 MPH. They aren't as heavy as you would think but not legal in Iowa for highway use.

Yup, about 55mph. It has about as much clearance as typical 4 wheeler, but its got the longer wheel base, so its not going to clear as much. You can get bigger tires for them that up the ground clearance. The law in WI is that its considered a tractor and you need a slow moving vehicle sign on the back. Only supposed to go 25 with it.....yeah, that doesn't happen. We pretty much just run around with it on our property though.

i "think" it is illegal in iowa to have a slow moving vehcle sign and go faster than 25

It would be handy! I can see a lot of seed, NPK, chain saws and the like hauled and used with that thing...

Someone Photoshop a 12' step ladder screwed to the bed of that thing. You could trim some serious shooting lanes... lol
