Dad's new toy

Actually I thought there was going to be a pic of a screaming hot blond when I opened this post...

They're not legal for the road anywhere in the US. They are suppose to be sold with speed limiters (usually just a plate so you can't shift to higher gears), easy to take off. They're right hand drive. You can get lift kits for all of them then put on ATV tires and wheels. Makes are Mitsubishi, Diahatsu, Suzuki, Subaru, Honda, maybe one or two more. I've checked into getting a container of 7 of them. Have all the connections, just hav'nt pulled the trigger yet. All the dealers and owners I've talked to love em. They also say they are about impossible to get stuck.

Anybody in?

Van Wall, the John Deere dealer here in Ames has about ten to fifteen of those little guys. They said they sell them like hot cakes all over the midwest.

I looked long and hard at these and was convinced it was the way to go----UNTIL, I tried to get in and drive one.I am 6,2" 230 and it was like stuffing 20lbs of stuff in a 10 pound bag!!! this was while wearing shorts and a t-shirt,cant imagine trying to drive one with hunting gear on.i looked at the standard cabs as well as the jumbo cabs and also the deck van version which would have been doable, yet only had a very small bed.I instead bought a 2008 kawasaki mule trans diesel. They now have power steering and for my purposes as well as having the ability to haul 4-6 people plus gear it works ideal.I have added a lift as well as larger tires which made a world of difference in its off roadability.
