I'd really like to get my hands on 4-6 cold hardy viable Dwarf Chinkapin Oak acorns. I've found sources in the south, but worried they won't adapt to northern climes. I've found sources for bareroot seedlings in the north, but really don't want to spend $50+ on a small order.
If anyone has a few DCO acorns that they'd be willing to swap, I'm open for ideas. I could offer a ziploc sandwich bag full of grade A chestnut oak acorns- they are from trees that were loaded this year and the acorns are just starting to sprout. Alternately, I could trade a few sawtooth, english, or live oak acorns. I've got access to some other more common white and red oak varieties if there is something else you're looking for.
