Virtually no visible rut activity, does feeding alone, no bucks in sight this morning, warm..windy....wife's 30th birthday, had to come home. Swapped cards on a cam, been there only 2 days, all kinds of bucks scraping after dark.....have a stand not 30 yards from the scrape, need some daylight movers.
Decent little 8.

Main frame 9 I had some pics of before on a field edge. He's got a g1 kicker too.....and he's growing on me...if he gave me a chance..an arrow would be flung his way. I'm + he's a 160 class buck.....am I far off?

Nice shot of his sack.

If they're moving at night, I'm willing to bet their moving during the middle of the day as well. Try mid-morning to mid-afternoon hunt.

Found him again...they're scraping the heck out of the sphagnum moss along the river....may be eating it too??? It's green and ripped up..big time.

I think this is the same 8pt as before too.

Also got this decent looking youngster, may be a good one in a couple years.

So far, that's over 20 different bucks in the same square 1/2 mile along the river. Nothing in the daylight. The alfalfa edge is understandable but I figured sooner or later on of these bucks would be moving in the daylight. Just for info sake, these guys I posted before are also amonngst my river bottom bucks.
I'm totally stumped as to why I am not seeing any sign of daylight movement or rut activity.

NOW granted I'm working all day everyday except Sat. but man alive, not even a doe in the daylight on the cams.
