Apparently we have a Deer Study Advisory Committee that are holding meetings re: the future of deer hunting in Iowa.
They are holding these meetings at the on the following place and dates:
Story Co. Conservation Center
McFarland Park
5646 180th St.
Ames,Ia.
Meeting Dates
10/14
10/28
11/17
12/9
9:00am-4:00pm
I was wondering if any of you IW members and IBA members are aware of these meetings and the agenda?
What is the Deer Study Advisory Committee about? Is there any information out there, does anyone have the time to post a link so we can all be informed? I sure would like to know more, would you?
The following quotes are from some reliable sources that have shared some information with me:

The charge was to come up with a deer management program that satisfies everyone (can't happen). <span style="color: #CC0000">At least a dozen of the groups have no idea what deer management is. Only committee members can make comments, but during recess you can corner committee members. That's what FB & FOI did.
Whitetails Unlimited didn't send anyone. Just IBA, Conservation Alliance and Co. Conservation Board speaking for hunters.</div></div>
