Bowhunter Magazine on the Outdoors Channel??? It is one right now. This guy is hunting whitetails somewhere in open terrain mostly some tall grass and stuff. The guy is wearing a deer hat!!!! I aint kidding. The jacka$$ looks like he is wearing a Mickey Mouse hat. Two ears sticking out,two eyes and the front of a does face on the front of the hat. What in the hell will they think of next to part a fool and his money??? I am still laughing. I ain't kidding, it looked like Mickey Mouse sneeking through the grass!! My God!!!!!!!!!
 
You mean to tell me that isnt normal for that part of the country, and you guys also get cable way out there. Man you guys got it made

I did see that. You see something new everyday that's for sure. LOL!! He was shooting deer, so it must have worked. Oh wait...it's TV. ha, ha
 
You must have been sleeping through most of the show. The are on Kodiak Island hunting blacktails. I was amazed how well the hat worked. Some of the deer came right up to them. They were not spooked
 
I talked to a guy at CIA this weekend and he Antelope hunts in South Dakota and his guide has a antelope suit he wears sometimes.

Yes, it did appear to work pretty well!

I wouldn't care how silly I looked if it would allow me to get within bow range of deer like that in open terrain.
