Not caring much for the available adjustable camera mounts I decided to make my own. I used lock box that I already have. My old I40 is the genie pig. The thing weighs 10lb with the security box so I dont think most of the mounts out there would hold it.
Its not much but thought I would share.
Its 1/2 square tubing and 3/8 round stock and 1/4 bolts and nuts.
Spent about $8 for enough material to do all three of my cameras.
Cut pieces to lengths I wanted.
Welded and painted. Was going to weld T bars on the bolts for hand tighting but decided not to to make it harder for the low lifes.
Tree mount screws to tree with out camera.
Then just slide the down rod in with camera attached. Tighten bolts and adjust. Pix should be on a tree but do to work schedule and cold it took the pix inside but you get the jist.
