nicerack New Member Sep 10, 2005 #6 Some guy found it last year in late december, and called the dnr for a salvage tag. They ran a metal detector over it and found a pistol bullet in it.

Did it have rifling grooves on the actual bullet? If not, then it's out of a sabot. Makes ya think about salvage tags & what could happen if you are innocent of foul play.
