Hey everyone.. I was just sitting around thinking today that I really want to throw myself out there and lend a helping hand and get to meet some of the friends on this forum. I am currently overseas and won't be home for good until about the first week of February.
What I would kinda like to do is see if any of you need any free assistance in the Spring planting food plots, TSI, taking down stands, or, if you have a big tract of land you want an extra set of eyes to help look for sheds (you keep them of course), I would be more than happy to get out there and put some miles on for ya.
I've been away for the majority of the year. I've missed out on pretty much all of the above, and being away from friends, family, and not being able to take a stroll through the woods anytime I want really has made me be thankful for the friends, family, and freedoms that I do have back home.
Besides maybe working part time, turkey hunting, and a fishing trip to Canada in May, I dont really have a whole lot of plans for the late winter/spring. I would kind of like to help someone out with food plots so I can learn a little more about them and land management.
I live in Wilton, Ia (about 11 miles north of Muscatine) and wouldn't mind the driving distance too much to help out for a weekend. (I would prefer to stay in the S.E quadrant of Iowa)
Like I said before, I'm not really in it to gain anything, other than a little comraderie and a few learning experiences..
