My brother missed a MN giant on Sunday. Seems to me like he did the same last year about this same time. Oh yeah, he did!!

I am going to hit a spot over in IL on sunday for one of my observation stands...it happens to be a giant oak (and there is not many of those in this timber) I just hope the acorns are falling all over the place. One could easily come by this stand at any given time.

I hate November!!

I'm sitting at work while I should be sitting in a tree. The rut sucks because I'm not out there.

I'd shoot a big boy on opening day and wouldn't regret it one bit. Just give me more time to fill the freezer with does.

If I have time to sit in the tree this time of year I'll do it, wether it is rut or not. I just try to get there more often during the rut.
