Does your wife like to hunt?

Just curious as to how many of you guys on here have wives that hunt also.
My wife loves to hunt. She actually goes by herself to the deer stand on occasion.
Here's a couple of pics of her trophies.
She hasn't shot a deer yet. Hopefully this will be the year.

She Hasn't hunted ever before, but has really gotten into it since I opened the shop! She is going to be Muzzleloading this year and hopefully doing some filming for me as well!!

But you know she is a keeper when your first picture as a married couple looks like this!!!

I don't have a wife but my steady squeeze just passed hunters ed. this winter and this spring shot her first turkey... kinda funny, I just shot my first turkey this spring too, and I've been hunting em for a few more years than she has.... and mine was a jake and hers was a tom...

maybe I should just stick to deer hunting and leave the turkey shootin' up to her.

Needless to say she is hooked.

Yes, she loves it as much as I do. She went out deer hunting with me every time last year. It's something that we enjoy doing together.

no but she can shoot! both a bow and a high power. my girlfriend that is. I dont have an official ball and chain.

Naw, my wife hates to hunt, but the only hunting she does is for stuff I can't find, so its understanable.

"Dear, I can't find my remote" "Wait a second Hun, I'll fire up my intrauterine radar that all women are born with and find it for you, jerk" "What was that last part Dear?" "Nuthin Hun, I said hunting for all the crap you lose is a PERK of being married to you" "I love you too, bitch" "What was that last part Hun?" "Nuthin Dear, I was just askin ya WHICH TV show you wanna watch after you found my remote" "Here it is Hun, in the cupboard next to the rat poison. Can I fix you a drink?" "That'd be nice Dear"

I actually proposed to my wife in a tree stand last fall. We just got married August 11th. (my excuse for not making the shed gathering)
She passed her bowhunters safety & proficiency last weekend and plans to participate in the urban bowhunt as well this year.

That is great to hear!!! Tell her good luck this fall.

I don't know what'd be better: posting a 160" buck harvest picture on here or posting a picture of my wife and her first deer. This will be her second year bowhunting. We just had our first baby last Friday, so she's got a little catching up to do with the bow, but she has the next 12 weeks off for maternity leave, so she's very excited to say the least. Life is good, a very beautiful baby girl to go home to now in addition to a beautiful lady. (I need to make sure she "accidently" sees this post -- points are very good with season upcoming.

My wife doesn't like to hunt but she is a dead eye with a rifle and shoots my 9mm pretty well. I am pretty close to talking her into turkey hunting next spring.

Mine does. She dedicated to, she kept hunting for about 8 years before taking this buck. She had said to me the day she shot this deer, if I don't get one this year I won't be back next year.

Mine definitely does not like to hunt...and sometimes has a little trouble understanding my obsession...I mean passion.

But she has gone out to film me during the season a couple of times and everytime we went out we had nice bucks underneath us. I keep telling her to share that special perfume that she wears with me...hasn't worked for me though! She an outdoors person, but not the "forest type" of outdoors. Here is a pic...(before/after)

we video taped the entire hunt and it is featured on Real Hunting's Iowa Giants.

My wife loves to go "shoot deer" not "hunt deer". Spoiled her back in Missouri where on our farms we have large box blinds with heaters and she can bring a blanket. She has never set for more than an hour before a deer walked out in one of our food plots and she has taken it (she is a hell of a shot with a rifle). I have taken her out during late muzzleloader season and she did kill a 7 point this year, but it was almost one hell of a fight to get her to stay put "sitting on the ground" for more than an hour.

When we first started dating a few years back I drug her out to deer camp on a hot Sept weekend.....

Thinking, the conditions, her having to help me drag tree stands thru fields and the grunt work of cleaning up around camp would turn that little suburban mall rat, fresh out of college off to the thought of being outdoors...

Therefore giving me a free pass to continue to do what I do in the fall.

Yea,that really didn't work out so well.

Now I can't just buy 1 of anything hunting related because when I come home with something she always asks "Where is mine??!!!"

It's actually better this way.. I love spending time with her bow hunting, teaching her, even learning things on my own.

I'm new to the site this year. I'm not quite married so i can't say my wife hunts, but me and my fiance are going to pick up her first bow next weekend. she's hoping to be hunting this fall (shes a good trap shooter) and hoping to start bow-hunting next fall!
