I read somewhere (I think IW ?) that a bill was on the table to allow the tracking of a wounded deer with dogs. Anyone knows if it passed or was even true….

I know I read somewhere that there was discussion on tracking wounded deer with dogs. I also read that the Wensel brothers receive the ok from the DNR to have a dog assist with tracking a wounded deer. Made it sound like you might get the ok if you contacted your local DNR officer first?
