% done growing

Not too much time left. If the velvet is light colored, it's close to being done. If the velvet still looks dark at the ends, it will probably grow a little.

Each deer is different as well as their growth. I'd say for the most part the deer I've been watching all summer, the majority are close to being tipped out. However I do have a couple bucks laggin behind. I'd say it honestly depends on each deer.

My bucks started shedding between the 15th and the 20th last year. This year they look a little balled up still. But really looking forward to the hard horned pics and for the mature bucks to start spreading out.

got a couple more pictures of Earl on Friday and he was still beaded out on his g3 and g4's. I'm in the boat with another 2 weeks.

Thanks for that Erick... I am looking at coming that way to get my trail cameras checked finally, just figured if I did, more than likely I was going to bring them home..but I think I will wait a little while yet before I head down.. Thanks! and Good luck with Earl!!!!

I've got a few younger bucks that look tipped out and a couple more mature bucks that are a tad bit swollen on their G3's and main beams still. I'd say some are done now and the rest will finish up in the next couple of weeks.

I'd say if you can still see the dark bulb look, to the growing points in your trail cams pics then they are still growing, when the bulb starts to look more like a point then they are done. From what I'm seeing G1 & 2 are mostly done on my cam pics but the 3 4 and or main have a little more to go. But hard antler is not far off my friend.
