Dream Hunt

I also wouldnt ask for that extravagant of a hunt, I have always dreamed of taking a week hunting for a big whitetail on the Milk River in Montana.
 
Before I die I am going to hunt the following, Montana elk, canada whitetail or mulies, alaskan grizzly and moose and would like to try my hand at mountain goat or some kind of sheep out west. All with a bow of course!!!
 
Im with you Ghost. Let's make it happen. I don't know about the bud girls but maybe someone else can fill in. Dreams can come true. There is no doubt we will be taking that trip sometime soon.
 
I'd like to do a african lion/cape buffalo/dangerous game hunt. With a back up sniper of course. Also with the swedish bikini team. sorry no pictures.
 
There are lots of "Dream Hunts" one of which would be a pack trip for elk almost anywhere in the remote Rockies with one of my homemade bows. Even though there are lots of hunts I dream about almost all of them contain the same companions, my son, my friend who is more a brother than my brothers, and my father-in-law, who is gone now.
These are the things that make a hunt wonderful.
 
The original post said if money were no object....so i will be a little more bold than some of you fella's ( i think with some planning and saving you could all go on your hunts 5 - 10 years down the road).

OK, since money is no object, I would like to go to asia and bowhunt for Marco Polo Rams. Its pretty cheap.....not!!! About 50,000!!!
Anyway, I have a midwest dream hunt going this year Iowa and Kansas Tags.....SWWWEEEAAATTT!!!!!

Bighorn Sheep out west. I've been applying for preference points for about five years now, so I figure in another forty to forty five years I'll probably have a shot at actully aquiring a tag.

just lacking a few lonely ladys, this state has every thing imaginal except whitetails and good looking women (ratio 100-1) come prepared
 
Hey alaskan where in alaska are you at? If you're near a Air force base you could always try to hook up with one of those ladies. Heck you might even get a free meal at the chow hall

Money isn't an object huh? Then I'd have to say "To boldy go where no man has gone before" and that would be the NOW headquarters and hunt for any common sense. No offense to all of the great women who post on this site.

To boldly say it was off the topic and i replied to a question, and gave a honest answer. You guys in the lower 48 don't know what goes on in this state. All us alaskans ever hear about is the Bunny Huggers and the enviromentalists. Did you know that nine bush villiages in this state are infested with these dieseases, that means grown ups and infants and the sad part is most are related. Sorry I don't want to be a part of the percentages. It had nothing to do with the readers of this site nor any women in general. You know what is sad, Is Iowa is the only state that nonresidents have to go through a lottery to hunt whitetails, I really feel bad for the surrounding states that let you guys hunt theirs every year but they can't hunt yours. I know it's all political and some of you feel the same as i do and some oppose. I really don't care myself cause all i really care about is shed hunting and there is no lottery. I plan on shedding in the state but no time soon. I'm in a dream world now and maybe when I move back to the 48 I will gain my commen sense and not speak so freely like us alaskans some times do. This is a differnt world up here. Hell, this will float your boat, Alaska just boosted thier laws on ? 4 months ago.now you can have 4 ounces in your house for personal use. It's in open conversations up here and i was stunned when i heard all this talk, personally i'm clean and don't care for it, cause of my upbringing. I guess it is it's own world. But i do speak my mind and I'm not afraid of doing it. This is america and it's a fredom , a freedom of speech. OFF TOPIC

No offense taken Fishbonker or Alaskanwhitetail. The NOW gang are a bunch of anti-hunting, anti-gun freaks. That, along with the fact that I think for myself, plus I have no problem with (horrors!) asking for a mans help when I need it, not only do I have no affinity towards them, I think they would run screaming from the room before they associated with the likes of me.

Anyway…dream hunt…I spent some time in SW Colorado last September, and I found that nothing feels neater to walk on than sandstone. So it would have to involve walking on sandstone. And also a very large bighorn ram. Maybe some mule deer and elk too.

I'm easy to please, just give me whitetails. My dream hunt would be a month long, a week in Kansas, a week in Iowa, and a week in illinois followed by a week of sitting on a gas line in the north woods of Alberta. Of course it'd be nice to finish out the dream hunt by coming home and chasing the whitetails right here!

If money were no object, I'd come home just long enough to make new arrows, kiss the wife and head onto the next hunt. In reality I've always wanted a Stone sheep.

If money was not an issue, I would by a huge tract of land, hire professionals to come in and manage the property. Whitetail, Elk, Mullies, Bear, Turkey, a stream running through the middle of the property stocked with browns, rainbows and brook would the best.Then I would call all my hunting buddies and tell them to come on. I would love to own my own hunting ranch. That would be the Dream Hunt for me.
