Driveway Herbicide

What recommendations do you guys have for a non selective, long lasting residual control, as environmentally friendly as possible, driveway herbicide? I won’t be applying massive amounts of it, but would like good/great residual in my barn driveway and house driveway - both are gravel.

I use ground clear keeps clean for 1 yr fairly cheap and works decent i use to spray deer trails and mock scrapes also

I always empty out my corn cocktail on the gravel. Lasts most of the summer.

Sureguard works pretty darn well, it won’t harm your grass if it runs off either.

I just put down some Gordon’s Barrier I got at Farm and Fleet. Non selective and only need to put it down once per year. It is the only herbicide I use that works immediately (I spray gly, cleth, imox and 2-4d most years). Weeds already wilted and leaned over. It’s got dicamba in it though which makes me nervous. Sprayed the yard with some stuff that had dicamba in it one year and had some house ornamentals and trees that all looked set back one year and I always wondered if that was why.

A gallon of it lasts me a year or two.

Like road salt, water softener salt?. I'd be afraid of runoff and killing grass at edges. But probably pretty cheap method

Not to mention your driveway will turn into a salt lick for deer
