Thanks for sharing that one.

Mine isn't as big, but I am still thrilled to have killed a drop-tine buck.

Here is the finished mount.

And the one I shot this year broke his off. I don't what the odds of someone shooting two droptine bucks is but I know I am very lucky.

man, you are really really lucky, the biggest deer i've shot is a 7 pointer

Biggest deer or biggest buck?? ive shot plenty does that are GIGANTIC!!! my biggest is a 8 pt. that should have been a 10 pt.... but his left rack was broken.. so that sucked!

well acually it was a 5 pointer because i accidentally shot the left antler off

In the "what might have been" category, this is the closest I have gotten to harvesting a drop tine buck.

Get a good cheaper bow to start.. perhaps during the summer.. and shoot all summer and get into it.. my parents divorced and my dad didnt really believe in deer hunting.. and i disagreed.. so i went and bought a walmart bow.. and used it and shot my first doe at 35 yds and she ran bout 60 yds. and dropped... and ive upgraded to a $700 bow in that amount of time.. and this was just last year a shot her... but my fball coach helps tape for Mark and Terry Drury and he hooked me up with my Hoyt Xtec.. its the best bow i have ever shot.. get into what u can now.. ull never go back!

that's really cool, yeah i will probably end up with a really cheap bow, but i will be very excited to try it out

Well.. im guessin u have a walmart sumwhere around ur area?? if u do.. wait till after the season.. then go and look for the bows.. i bought mine cheap cheap.. and it worked awesome.. i ended up givin it to my little brother and he got his first doe with his bow this year! hes excited and also hooked! i bought a package for $75.. and it did the job.. trust me.. it did the job.. but now my mom is dating a guy who bowhunts and he has a Mathews Classic.... and i shot it.. but i still like my Hoyt!! u dont need to buy a $700 bow like me just to get started! take it slow and gradually increase.. when u get out there and the excitement of waitin for that deer to come within range.. omg i love that feeling! try it soon! ull never go wrong!

I believe mine was a BTR... something like that.. it came with a quiver, arrow rest.. bow, cat whiskers, and a nock loop... great deal! trust me.. if i new u were in need of a bow.. i would have sent it to ya for free!
