Just wanted to let you all know that the National Archery in School Program has a very nice article written about it in the paper today. Its in the B section. This is what a bunch of us IBA and ISAA guys worked on for three days this past weekend. This is a very awesome program. I will post some more details on it later. Go on out and grab a copy.
Thanks

BIG Thumbs up for all the folks involved in the program. This is one program EVERYONE should get behind and promote to your local school districts. What a super way to involve the young kids in archery and eventually hunting.
Great job, Chad I'm sure you were behind getting Juli there for the story!!!!!!

Read it first thing this a.m. Fantastic article. It would be nice to get things like this going again and getting our youth more exposure to what alot of us can't get enough of. Although I was hoping for a huge photo of some fancy shmancy stickers on a custom storage box.... I still thought you guys that put the time in need to be thanked for your efforts. Great job Chad and the rest.....was that your bro in the photo?? Couldn't have been....he would have been wearing a MIA Hat.

Yeah that is my little brother - He is a teacher at SEP. He took the level 1 certification course. Rudd I will try to get the pics up tonight. The storage box turned out awesome. Actually, had about 5 offers to build them for other people too.

Also - I talked to the writer of the column today. She said she has had 8 schools call her today interested in the program, and numerous other calls telling her what a great job that she did. Guys this is how we keep the hunting and archery stories in the main stream media, by letting them know what a good job they do when the write articles like this, and this is the kind of stuff that we would like to see more of. Take time out of your day and drop her a line and tell her what you think. Here is her name and number:

If ya get enough people doing that, probley a good chance we will get to see more and more archery/hunting articles, instead of biking, hiking and bird watching. No offense to the above mentioned. Thanks

Emailed Juli first thing this morning and got one back. She was talking about how much she enjoyed doing the story.
We need to keep this lady in mind when we have an event to plug or some PR for.
