Duck hunting in Iowa question ?????

A couple of years ago I was shed hunting in southern Davis and saw loads of Ducks. I do duck hunt and was wondering about being able to maybe hunt the Rivers there? anyone have any advise?

Some mornings I like to let things rest if it raining or just to not blow deer out going in and am looking to chase some waterfowl.

I have been a waterfowler since I can remember. I know a lot of guys hunt the rivers and have great success. I've never done it personally though but I have hunted back waters off rivers with great success

Always been more of a duck hunter personally. But since moving to Iowa, I've learned that the duck hunting kinda sux in the middle of the state. But you won't get skunked all the time...

As soon as we start getting rain one of these falls, I'd like to try jumpshooting.
