I usually try to plant around the third week of August for DD. I am in NCMO, hour S of Kirksville.

Took yesterday afternoon off work to spray 4 acres of corn and 6ish acres of trash CRP (fescue and lespedeeza mostly). Will bust out the drill in a couple weeks.

Corn is doing exceptionally well. I clipped the adjacent clover last night too.

That's fantastic! Here in PA the highest corn I've seen is about 8" high, 1/2" of rain the past 6 weeks.
