Early MZ Season. Any pistol shooters?

Are you absolutely positive? In deer regulations of the past, they have specifically said that handguns were not legal weapons during the early muzzleloader season. This years regs do list hanguns under "deer muzzleloading seasons", but I tend to not take the regs as gospel. They seem to leave information out every year. Not trying to pick a fight here, I just don't want you to get in trouble! Is there anywhere that you can find where it says that it is a legal weapon for early season, specifically?

I am very certain. Nothing has changed either. Note that it must be a MUZZLE LOADING pistol no caplock revolvers or centerfires.
I can not afford to assume it is legal. I know it is.
Contact the Game Enforcement Officer in YOUR area. If he says otherwise I'd suggest he contact the home office, but I will bet he's up on it.

Hey Scout, how do you like that 209x50 barrel? I've been thinking about getting one. I'm not new to handgunning but I haven't tried a muzzleloading pistol yet. I know all the other TC's I've used are "dead a** on the $". Excellent firearms.

I have a 2X Burris on it and did very well @ 80 yrds. The target dot I was using was getting covered @ 100 but I still managed a 6" group.
For some reason lead cast bullets would'nt fly well out of it.
I just picked it up this summer, then sent it back to T/C to have the trigger lightened (free) Bad thing is its still to heavy. I'd like it @ 2 3/4 lbs.
I've never killed a deer with a pistol so this should be fun. Looking @ the iowa top 10 and you'll see only a hand full of deer over 150 are listed. (5 or 6) I have a couple 150 class deer picked out. It's a tough time of season to get them moving, I'll need lots of luck.
