Earth Ponds

Have several more watering holes that I want to do. Have previously dug holes with skidsteer but debating using an Earth Pond. They seem extremely expensive for what they are but wonder if they are worth it. Have you guys tried them and if so are they worth the money or keep digging holes with skidsteer?

I would use a rubber made over them. Way less $. I have water holes I’ve dug & different types of tubs. I personally like the ones I dig better. I make them all clay, deep & steep. I honestly don’t worry much about midges. They are clean & full of life (not sludge). & they hold, 1000-2000 gallons easily & fill themselves.
