Thanks Chad for posting the photos.
We hunted Wed morning and not a gobble,a little disappointed to say the least. Went back out that evening about 6. We got all setup(no blind this year)made a couple sets of calls with no response. A train goes by and and a Tom fires up. We run 200 yds get set up again and I make one series of calls,now the bird just over the ridge. I have Jordan turn a little more to his right cause the bird will come up the ridge and strut in a little clearing. Sure enough up pops a bright red head moving to the opening. Jordan waited til I gave the OK and dropped him in his tracks.
Very proud grandpa!!! Jordan shot this bird on his own and no blind.
