Besides my kids, the best part of everyday is running the cameras.

I can't express in words how trail cams have added to the enjoyment of my year round passion.

Ghost i would first like to say, thanks for sharing all of you pictures. Everyone you put on here is just AWESOME! I have a question for you though, from Jan. 3 to Jan 8. I was getting pictures of a REALLY nice buck coming into my corn pile. I got a lot of pictures of him and they were all at night. Why is it he doesn't keep coming back to the corn pile? Do you have this happen to you a lot? Where a particular buck comes into your corn pile and then doesn't show up for a while? Or never show up again. I hope i am not confusing you, but i am new to this trail cam thing and just wanted to know what you thought.

Thanks, and again great pictures.

I think some of the bucks are just making there way through the area and happen to get caught having a bite to eat. Others seem to be regulars and visit daily. Then there are the bucks that get flashed a few times and don't visit the corn pile again.

And it is really weird, some bucks will just come through once a week and stand in front of the camera for hours.

Wish I had a clear answer for you but I don't.

Try this once... I pulled all the cameras for about three days and let them gourge on the corn. Then go back in and put your cameras on trails leading to the corn but not directly over the pile. Kind of a surprise attack tactic.

One buck has been in there at one of the piles every day. I have pictures of him with both sides, one side, and see him all the time since he shed one the 10th of January. I have the first side he shed and can't wait to find the other.

Anyway, that's what makes it fun...bucks are truely individuals!

I love your cam pics Ghost! I'm jealous of your digitals...I still have the ole "snail camera" so if I only have 6 pics...I wait....and wait...then wait to have it developed...sheesh!!

Alright, thanks for the advice. Maybe i will try to move my camera some where else when this pile of corn is gone.

If your talking the buck in your avatar, I'm pretty certain he got shot on the 9th of January!

OMG River Bttm Boy. Pleas tell me your lying. Who got him? What did he score? Where was he shot at? IF the hunter would like some trail cam photos i would love to give him some. Congrats if it was the deer.

I think it is awesome. I just wish that River Bttm Boy would talk to his friend so i could meet him and see if it was for sure the deer, if so man congrats to him. I would print off all of my pictures of him and give them to him along with the antler shed i have from this buck.
