Soak it in warm water and dawn dish soap. (I know a taxi that uses a fish tank heater to keep the soapy water warm). Change the water daily. I'd give it a week.
bought the buck boiler, works fairly good, i think the reason it is very slow is the first head i am trying is one i found this spring, so it was dried up some.
