Extended forecast
It looks like the second week of November is going to be much cooler 44-50 degrees the first week is 66 degrress a couple days & low 60 mid to high 50's the other days. This being said do you go for the 1st week or the 2nd week?Hard call but weather temps usually make a difference but is it enough to make the first week of november slow for deer movement?I was thinkling about taking the first week off but now am second guessing myself what to do???????????????

Going off of a forecast that is 2-3 weeks out is pretty ballsy. I'd go with the 2nd week regardless of what the temps do, IF you have to get your vacation on the books.

Anyone throwing the towel for the next few days until it cools down Tuesday?

I'm in for this weekend. But only on a new farm that I'm trying to spend some time figuring out. Otherwise I would hang it up a few more days.

Sorry. As for the original question:
If I had to choose right now, I'd go with the second week. Let some crops get picked.

I was going to go 1st week but now am going to split the difference and take 5th -11th off and still have the weekends of 1/2 & 15/16.

I was told when I started bowhunting "Be there on the 4th, 5th, and 6th, no matter what", and I've shot at and/or killed on the 5th, 6th, and 7th in the past couple of years, so that is making me think I need to take some time the 1st week. I'm also considering taking some time the 2nd week, as I don't necessarily have to take vaca in a 5 day chunk. Probably will see what work schedule and weather are gonna do.

Weather may slow daytime activity but does not dictate breeding, many big bucks have been killed on 60 degree days
